Kadokawa recently held a Livestream for the second cour of the second season of ReZero: Starting Life in Another World anime. In the session, it reveals that the second cour will air from January 6 at 10/;30 pm JST. It also reveals the names of artists performing OP-ED theme songs. Mayu Maeshima is performing the opening theme song “Long shot”. Whereasnonoc is performing the ending theme song “Believe in you.” It also revealed a key visual:

The second cour of ReZERO’s second season will also air on TV Hokkaido, KHB Higashi Nippon Broadcasting Co., Ltd., TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting Co., Ltd., and BS11. Abema, d Anime Store, and other services will stream the new season in Japan.

Due to Covid-19, the second season already faced a delay in release. It was delayed from April to July.

The first anime season of Tappei Nagatsuki’s ReZERO -Starting Life in Another World- light novel series aired in April 2016. Crunchyroll simulcasted the series. Funimation released the English dub version in June 2018.

The anime also has two original video anime (OVA) volumes, titled ReZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow. It also has a movie titled ReZERO – Starting Life in Another World – The Frozen Bond. 

Crunchyroll is streaming the second season’s second cour starting 2021.
