The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 Reveals New PV Previewing Ending Theme Song By Eve

The official website of The Apothecary Diaries revealed a new PV for the third season of the anime on Sep 25, 2026, and features a snippet of the anime’s new ending theme song by Eve titled “AIYOU.”

The PV previews Maomao and Jinshi as they confront a new mystery involving a disaster threatening the country and a mysterious woman who has been causing a stir among the people.

Alongside the trailer, the website also shared a comment by Eve. It can be viewed below:

I’m very happy to be able to be involved with this story through music.

I think that, unlike solving a mystery, the human heart cannot always be unraveled, and emotions that cannot be put into words can sometimes create a distance as vast as the universe between two people who are right beside each other. With those mysteries of the heart in mind, the song “AIYOU” was born.

I wanted to capture the desire to see the “you” that exists beyond your role and position, the “you” that is truly yourself. Even in the loneliness of gazing at such a distant star, there are feelings that draw our hearts toward one another—feelings that cannot be neatly explained by logic. I poured those emotions into the song as well.

I hope that after watching the main story, the song can become a quiet moment for you to listen closely.

The third season will air in two parts, with the first cour premiering on Oct 2, 2026 and the second in April 2027.

An anime film titled The Deceased Empress’ Treasure is set to premiere in Japan in December 2026.
