Kagurabachi Anime World Tour Part 2 Announced With Premiere Screenings In Johannesburg & Melbourne

The Kagurabachi anime’s World Tour will continue with a second part in September, featuring premiere screenings of the first 20 minutes of episode 1 at conventions in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Melbourne, Australia.

The screenings will take place at Comic Con Africa in Johannesburg and PAX Aus in Melbourne.

Special panel sessions featuring members of the anime’s production staff will also be held at both events.

Part 2 follows the first portion of the Kagurabachi Anime World Tour, which began in July with world premiere screenings at four major anime conventions.

The first part included Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Anime NYC in New York, Japan Expo Paris in Paris and AnimagiC in Mannheim, Germany.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that the World Tour will have a third part and a final tour in Japan, the info of which will be revealed at a later date.

The Kagurabachi anime is based on Takeru Hokazono’s manga, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The manga has surpassed 4 million copies in cumulative circulation, including digital editions.

CyberAgent group animation studio Cypic is producing the anime. Tetsuya Takeuchi is directing, having previously worked as an action animation director on Sword Art Online II and as a storyboard artist, episode director and animation director for battle scenes on Heavenly Delusion. Keigo Sasaki, known for his character designs on Blue Exorcist and The Seven Deadly Sins, is serving as character designer.

Taihi Kimura will voice protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira. Kimura received the Best New Actor award at the 2025 Seiyu Awards.
