If you have come to this article, you know what exactly Overflow is. So don’t look at things critically, because these anime adaptations are of a different genre. Instead of stroking your brain, they stimulate you in a different way. So, we are here suggesting the best anime that are similar to Overflow.
Note: In case you didn’t know, the anime adaptations by Studio Hokiboshi (which did Overflow, and some other anime in this list) usually have a broadcast version for TV, and a premium version with the ahem plot that you are looking for. You can stream it legally at Coolmic. You can thank us in the comments section!
Ok, now that we got that important piece of information out of the way, let’s get to our list!!
1. Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo

In Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo, Haruomi Shiki’s peaceful island life ends when a volcanic eruption destroys his home. Forced to move, he lands at a relative’s place, meeting three captivating sisters: Natsumi, Akina, and Mafuyu Orifushi.
Almost instantly, Haruomi’s days become a whirlwind of temptations and heated moments. Beyond steamy interactions, there’s a plot involving the sisters’ ice cream business, MinMin, which faces stiff competition from a rival shop.
The anime draws parallels to Overflow by showcasing a male protagonist suddenly living with multiple attractive women, leading to spontaneous and sensual misunderstandings.
2. Joshiochi!!

Joshiochi!! takes the idea of an unexpected “slip-up” to comical heights. Taking a leaf out of Overflow’s bathtub mishap, Joshiochi!! begins with a ceiling collapse, which sets up the stage for its ‘encounters’.
Sousuke, living in a rundown apartment, enjoys modest comfort thanks to a beautiful landlady and a cute neighbor above him. Everything changes when the ceiling suddenly collapses, causing that neighbor to crash straight down into his room—and onto him.
Yep, you read that right. The girls literally fall on our protagonist here. What follows is a series of cheeky coincidences and intimate accidents that quickly spiral into a heated love triangle.
While Overflow features a cast of college students, Joshiochi!! features adults navigating close-quarters chaos.
3. Harem Camp

Welcome to the explicit version of Yuru Camp. Kidding.
Harem Camp basically follows Kensuke, who volunteers to guide four girls on a camping trip, only to discover they’re all sharing one tiny tent—with him. Despite expecting it to be a brief adventure, these girls soon reappear in his daily life, drawn by his charm and willingness to help.
Like Overflow, this anime features one male protagonist suddenly surrounded by multiple women, fostering plenty of spontaneous and sensual moments. Yet Harem Camp distinguishes itself with a focus on the camping setting, and some slice of life moments – which are quite welcome.
Interestingly, this title is also adapted by Studio Hokiboshi!
4. The Share House’s Secret Rules

What would you do if you find yourself being bossed around by your two roommates to do all the chores around the house. But there’s one catch – for every minute of work you do, you get to do naughty things with them.
This is exactly what’s happening to this anime’s main character – Ryota Ochi. He was initially ordered around to do all the work by his two beautiful housemates. While he is about to quit, the women make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Living together with two girls, with lots of action involved? Well, that is right up the Overflow anime alley! If you loved Overflow, you will definitely love this one!!
5. Yoasobi Gurashi

Up next, we have yet another anime adaptation by Studio Hokiboshi. While all the recommendations above involved the protagonist getting involved with multiple girls, this one here revolves around two childhood friends – who end up living together.
You will see in no time that it indeed has similarities to Overflow!!
The plot follows Kazuto, a failed photographer, and Yayoi, a successful model, who are childhood friends. While these two were childhood friends, they grow apart over time, only to find themselves living together in an apartment out of the blue. You don’t need us to tell you what happens next do you?
6. Araiya San!

Araiya San!, like Yoasobi Gurashi, breaks away from the one guy multiple girls theme. However, the plot is focused around baths and bathhouses – which was an important element in getting things started in Overflow. So, this one makes it to our list too!
In Araiya San!, our main character Souta takes on a part-time job at a hometown bathhouse, only to discover that one of his regular customers is actually his classmate, Aoi. Determined to hide her identity, she covers her face while Souta washes her back—a service that quickly becomes more intimate than either of them expects.
It touches on some interesting themes, though don’t expect them to be explored in depth!
7. Redo of Healer

Now, Redo of the Healer is not an anime that you might expect to see in this list. It is a revenge fantasy, contains dark themes and also a lot of content that can trigger you no matter how you spin it.
Despite that, this anime is on a different level when it comes to offering the risque content. The plot basically follows our protagonist, who, fueled by rage and a thirst for vengeance, embarks on a ruthless quest to exact revenge on those who wronged him, becoming a morally ambiguous anti-hero in the process.
Watch the uncensored version!! That’s where the fun lies. It’s a shame that the uncensored version was not categorized as a h-ahem. You know it. Also, there are multiple girls involved. The only real similarity to Overflow in a sense if you are wondering!
8. Kiss x Sis

Keita Suminoe thought having two step-sisters would be a normal experience—until he realized that Ako and Riko, the twins he grew up with, were determined to take their bond to a whole new level. The sisters openly express their romantic interest in Keita, leading to a mix of awkward, comedic, and flirtatious situations.
This anime is definitely similar to Overflow. However, it takes the plot to a whole new level, as instead of childhood friends, it is step-sisters that come into the equation here. The OVA version of the anime has good amount ecchi content to keep you hooked, though it won’t match the levels in Overflow (you know why).
9. Yosuga no Sora

Do not be surprised to see Yosuga no Sora here. Despite its lack of ‘full blown scenes’ it is very similar to Overflow, and even Kiss x Sis. But, its fair to note that this anime leans heavily into drama, exploring deep emotional conflicts and personal dilemmas.
After losing their parents in a tragic accident, twins Haruka and Sora Kasugano move back to their childhood home in the countryside. Hoping to start fresh, Haruka reconnects with old acquaintances while Sora remains emotionally distant, reluctant to embrace change.
However, as their lives intertwine with those around them, emotions become more complicated. Love, friendship, jealousy, and personal struggles shape their new reality, leading to moments of both warmth and tension.
10. Aki Sora

Aki Sora is an anime that can be perfectly described as a weird mix of Kiss x Sis and Yosuga no Sora. However it takes action to a whole new level than Kiss x Sis, and it certainly scores the brownie points when it comes to being similar to Overflow.
The anime explores the bond between siblings Aki and Sora. While Aki is dominating and abusing the feminine Sora, he harbors a deep desire to get into the loins of his sister. The question is – will he succeed? Yes he does!
Interestingly, Sora’s feelings for Aki start to bloom after an encounter in the bath. And yep, that is a similar plot setting to Overflow. So, without a doubt, this one makes it to our list.
To conclude:
In the end, these are top 10 anime that we believe are very similar to Overflow. If you have any other anime that you feel might be good fit for this list, let us know them in the comments below. We shall acknowledge you are a cultured mind!!
