Netflix has unveiled the first teaser trailer for THE ONE PIECE, WIT Studio’s highly anticipated remake of Eiichiro Oda’s long-running manga.

The trailer debuted during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026 in France.

The teaser reintroduces viewers to the world of One Piece from the very beginning, opening with Pirate King Gol D. Roger’s scene.

The trailer then follows Monkey D. Luffy as he embarks on his journey to find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece while wearing the straw hat entrusted to him by Shanks.

Alongside the trailer, it was also confirmed that Mayumi Tanaka will reprise her role as Monkey D. Luffy, continuing her portrayal of the character from the original One Piece anime by Toei Animation.

Commenting on her return, Tanaka said she was happy to once again participate in a new One Piece series as Luffy. While she admitted to feeling some anxiety about starting the character’s journey again at her age, she said the experience allowed her to make new discoveries and approach the role with a fresh mindset.
