Oshi No Ko Anime Heads Toward Conclusion As Final Season Officially Announced

The official website of Oshi no Ko anime, based on the manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, announced that the series will receive a fourth season, which will serve as its final season.

The announcement follows the broadcast of the third season’s final episode on March 25. A teaser visual, promotional video, and comments from the main cast were also released.

Voice actor Takeo Otsuka, who plays Aqua, expressed both excitement and gratitude following the announcement. He thanked fans for supporting the anime since its 2023 debut and noted that the series is now entering its concluding phase.

Otsuka added that he is looking forward to rediscovering his approach to Aqua’s character as the story moves toward its finale, urging viewers to stay with the series until the very end.

Yurie Igoma, the voice of Ruby, echoed similar sentiments, stating, “With immense gratitude, joy, and a positive sense of pressure, I will give everything I have to the Final Season! Together with the cast and staff I love, I will continue to face Oshi no Ko with all my heart until the very end. Thank you for your support!

Megumi Han, who voices Kana Arima, acknowledged that bringing the story to completion feels inevitable after coming this far, while expressing heartfelt thanks to fans for making the final season possible.

Now that we’ve come this far, it wouldn’t make sense not to see it through to the end, right?
The fact that the anime is reaching its Final Season is all thanks to you. Thank you so much. As Kana Arima, under the banner of Oshi no Ko, I will cherish the remaining time I get to spend with all of you I love. I will fulfill my role in the story.

Manaka Iwami (Akane Kurokawa) shared that while she feels a sense of happiness at being able to deliver the final season thanks to fan support, there is also a hint of sadness as the series nears its conclusion. She stated her determination to see the journey through to the end alongside her character.

Rumi Okubo (MEMcho) commented that while she feels some sadness about the series ending, she is happy to be able to complete the journey with her character. She also noted that the anime staff has carefully preserved the strengths of the original work while delivering a story unique to the medium.

We’ve finally made it this far… we really have. While there is some sadness, I’m more than anything happy that I can run all the way to the end together with MEMcho. Rie Takahashi (Ai Hoshino) reflected on the impact of the third season, stating that after reaching this point in the story, there is no turning back, and invited fans to continue watching through the final season.

Season 1 of Oshi No Ko, produced by Doga Kobo, aired from April to June 2023 with a total of 11 episodes, followed by a 13-episode second season that broadcast from July to October 2024.

Oshi No Ko manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024, with its chapters collected in 16 tankobon volumes. It has been licensed for release in North America by Yen Press and is simultaneously published by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform.

The manga officially concluded its story with Chapter 166 in the 50th issue of Weekly Young Jump.
