The third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is officially set to premiere on July 5, as announced during a stage presentation at AnimeJapan 2026.
A new PV, previewing the Eris Training Arc, was revealed to commemorate the announcement. The new season will adapt the story beginning from Volume 13 of the original light novel series.
The PV also introduces new characters the upcoming storyline. Haruka Tomatsu joins the cast as Nina Farion, a skilled swordswoman who develops a fierce rivalry with Eris. Meanwhile, Tetsu Inada voices Gal Farion, Nina’s father and one of the world’s elite “Seven Great Powers,” recognized as the strongest individuals in the series’ universe.
In addition to casting announcements, the trailer debuts the opening theme song, “Ketsui no Uta” (Song of Decision), performed by Yuiko Ohara.
Based on the light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, the first season aired between January and December 2021 and the second season aired from July 2023 to July 2024.
The light novel first debuted online on Shosetsuka ni Naro in November 2012. A year later, Media Factory published a print edition under its MF Books imprint, featuring illustrations by Pixiv artist Shirotaka.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Yuka Fujikawa began serialization in the June 2014 issue of Monthly Comic Flapper, followed by the release of three spin-off titles.
