The official Twitter account for the Weekly Shonen Jump announced that bonus chapters for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and The Promised Neverland will be released on Sunday. The english version of the chapters will be releasing on the official app at the same time they release in Japan.
It was previously reported that the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba chapter will be a preview of the upcoming one-shot that will be given out to filmgoers in Japan for the upcoming movie, focusing on Rengoku’s first mission as a Demon Slayer. The Promised Neverland bonus chapter will be focused on Minerva’s Code.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series was written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who becomes a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. The manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba movie: Mugen Train is set for release on October 16, 2020, in Japan.
The Promised Neverland manga series was written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from August 2016 to June 2020. Season 2 of the anime is scheduled to release in January 2021.
