Noragami Creators Adachitoka Return With New Manga This October

The creators of the Noragami manga, who go by the pen name Adachitoka, are returning with a new manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine this October.

The new series, titled The Inn’s Noble Dog (Yadoya no o-Inu-sama), will premiere in issue #11 of the magazine, scheduled for release on Oct. 6, 2026.

According to the information revealed in the official preview, the manga follows Kasumi Kuromine, a young girl raised in a rural environment. During a middle school field trip, an unexpected turn of events cause her to tumble down a mountain, leading her into an unfamiliar new world.

The manga will be featured on the magazine’s cover and will include lead color pages to celebrate the start of serialization.

Adachitoka is the joint pen name for the manga artist duo composed of character artist Adachi and background artist Tokashiki. They are primarily known for creating Noragami, which ran in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine from December 2010 to January 2024 and has over 8 million copies in circulation worldwide.

Following the conclusion of Noragami, the creators published a standalone one-shot manga. The Inn’s Noble Dog marks their first full serialized work since Noragami ended.
