emaqi Premium Adds 18 VIZ Media Titles, Including Komi Can’t Communicate & Ranma 1/2

Digital manga platform emaqi is expanding its Premium subscription catalog this month with the addition of 18 manga series from VIZ Media.

The new VIZ Media additions will become available to Premium subscribers on Aug 7 alongside a slate of exclusive manga making their official English-language debut throughout August.

Among the newly available VIZ Media series are Komi Can’t Communicate, Tomohito Oda’s romantic comedy about a high school girl with extreme social anxiety; Rumiko Takahashi’s classic martial arts comedy Ranma 1/2; Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata’s zombie survival manga Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead; and Kenjiro Hata’s romantic comedy Fly Me to the Moon.

The platform’s exclusive English debuts are headlined by Ironfist Chinmi, a martial arts manga that is receiving its first official English release more than three decades after its Japanese debut. The series will launch on Aug 21.

Other exclusive titles include She’s Out of My League: Takane no Hana-san, Searching for Skeletons, Devil of a Saint, Black Terror, Climax Necromance, and Plus-sized Love.
