Shonen Jump+ editor Shihei Lin’s latest tweet revealed that Chainsaw Man Part 2 (Chainsaw Man chapter 98) has crossed over 2.5 million views since its release on Shonen Jump+ on July 13 in Japan.
The chapter has reached 2,630,490 views at the time of writing. It had crossed 1 million views in less than seven hours on the Jump+ platform.
The manga had garnered over 300k in the first hour and crossed 400k views in the next two hours of its release on the Jump+ platform in Japan.
Chainsaw Man Part 2 began serialization on July 13, 2022 on the Shonen Jump+ platform. It will be released every Wednesday in Japan and Tuesday worldwide.
Fujimoto debuted the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018. The first part ended in December 2020.
The manga was nominated for the 13th Manga Taisho awards in 2019, and ranked at #4 on the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2020 (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook’s top manga for male readers.
The manga won in the Best Shōnen Manga category at the 66th Shogakukan Manga Awards. Additionally, the manga topped the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2021 list for male readers. The manga won the Best Manga award at The Harvey Awards in October.
