The anime adaptation of Kouji Miura’s Blue Box has officially confirmed a second season.
The announcement was made on March 28, 2025, following the broadcast of the first season’s final episode, Episode 25.
To commemorate the announcement, a special season 2 production decision PV was released.
Season 1 of the anime aired for two consecutive cours from Oct 3, 2024, to March 27, 2025.
For the first cour, the opening theme was “Same Blue” by Official Hige Dandism, while the ending theme was “Teenage Blue” by Eve. The opening theme for the second cour was “Saraba” by Macaroni Empitsu, while TOMOO performed the ending theme “Contrast”.
Netflix licensed the series and is streaming it worldwide.

Blue Box is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kouji Miura.
It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since April 2021, with its chapters collected in 19 tankobon volumes as of March 2025.
