Spy X Family Crosses 25 Million Copies In Circulation

The tenth volume of the manga will also be launched on October 4.

The Shonen Jump Plus’ editor Shihei Lin recently tweeted that Tatsuya Endos’ manga Spy X Family volumes 1-9 have crossed 25 million copies in circulation.

The second cour of the first season of the Spy X Family anime is also set to release on October 1, 2022. In addition, the tenth volume of the manga will also be launched on October 4.

The official Youtube channel of Toho animation, the producers of the series, also released a new video teaser for the second cour:

Spy x Family anime’s first cour had 12 episodes and it aired from April 9 to June 25, 2022. The animation was handled by Wit Studio and Cloverworks. It became the most streamed anime in Japan thrice in a row, for the months of May, June and July 2022.

The series is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, with character designs handled by Kazuaki Shimada, and music produced by [K]NoW_NAME.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. It has been serialized biweekly on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ application and website since March 2019, with the chapters collected in nine tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.

The manga has exceeded over 350 million reads on the Shonen Jump+ digital platform. As of August 2022, the series has over 25 million copies in circulation.

Viz Media has licensed the series for English release in North America.
