The My Hero Academia anime’s 10th anniversary project will conclude with the franchise’s largest event to date, according to the official X account of the series.
The My Hero Academia Ultra Expo will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, which is also known for hosting events such as Jump Festa, on April 17 and 18, 2027.
The two-day event will be held across Makuhari Messe’s Event Hall and Exhibition Halls 2 and 3.
Further details about the event, including the program, guest appearances and ticket information, will be announced in early October. An official website and X account for the Ultra Expo have also launched ahead of the event.
My Hero Academia‘s 10th Anniversary project began with a kickoff event on April 3 and has included various projects celebrating the series and its decade-long anime run, including special releases such as the epilogue episode “More” and the short anime “I am a hero too.”
Other events and projects include the My Hero Academia In Concert world tour and the “OUR HERO” 10th anniversary exhibition in Tokyo.
The Ultra Expo announcement comes alongside another major 10th-anniversary project centered on the anime’s very first soundtrack, “You Say Run.”
“You Say Run” Remix, a special 10th-anniversary version of the iconic track produced by composer Yuki Hayashi and German band Electric Callboy, is set to release worldwide on Sep 22, 2026. The remix will make its live debut in London before its global release.
My Hero Academia began as a manga by Kohei Horikoshi in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014 and concluded in August 2024 after a decade-long run. The manga has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation worldwide.
The anime adaptation premiered in April 2016 and concluded its eight-season run with its final episode on Dec 13, 2025.
