The anime also set a Guinness World Record for the most in-demand anime of 2025, marking the second consecutive year the franchise has earned the distinction in the same category.
My Hero Academia’s final season (Season 8) aired from October to December 2025, bringing the television adaptation to a close. However, the franchise is set to continue with a bonus television special, scheduled for release on May 2, 2026, and also the anime adaptation of the spin-off series Vigilantes.
