The official Twitter account of Spy x Family anime revealed on Nov 19, 2022, that Ayane Sakura has been cast to voice Fiona Frost in the series. Fiona will make her debut in the anime from the latest episode (ep 21) releasing on Nov 26, 2022.

Fiona Frost is described as a spy working for WISE under the codename “Nightfall”.

A new character PV for Fiona was also unveiled to commemorate the announcement.

Moreover, Ayane Sakura also commented on Fiona saying that she had nothing but charm. “I feel that there is nothing but charm…so if I had to ask again, what would it be…I guess all the weird things. I find her very attractive in that everything she does is somewhat strange outside of work, and yet she is still somehow lovable. I also think the character designs are cool and wonderful.”

Spy x Family Cour 2 started airing in Japan on Oct 1, 2022.

The series is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, with character designs handled by Kazuaki Shimada, and music produced by [K]NoW_NAME.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. It has been serialized biweekly on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ application and website since March 2019, with the chapters collected in nine tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.

The manga has exceeded over 350 million reads on the Shonen Jump+ digital platform. As of August 2022, the series has over 25 million copies in circulation.

Viz Media has licensed the series for English release in North America.
