Infinity Castle movie

A news report, which quoted a press release from Amazon Prime Video Canada, accidentally disclosed Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle‘s streaming release date.

The article listed the film to be available for Crunchyroll channel subscribers starting July 29, 2026, meaning the film would be joining Crunchyroll’s catalog on the same day.

At the time of writing, the website has removed the reference to the film (however, the information can be seen in the image below).

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Crunchyroll release date leaked

Crunchyroll is yet to officially confirm a release date for the movie on their platform.

The movie’s release date leak comes as the film approaches its first anniversary. Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle debuted in theaters in Japan on July 18, 2025.

Viewers have waited for a streaming release date of the movie since it concluded its theatrical run earlier this year.

During its run, Infinity Castle broke box office records globally, becoming the highest grossing anime movie of all time, earning over USD 793 million, and won Film of the Year at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

Despite getting multiple theatrical re-releases, however, the movie was not able to beat Mugen Train‘s box office collection in Japan.

The plot of Infinity Castle follows Tanjiro Kamado and the members of the Demon Slayer Corps as they are transported to the titular fortress, a space controlled by Kibutsuji Muzan which keeps changing its structure.

The Hashiras and Tanjiro are then thrust into a battle with the remaining upper moon Demons under Muzan, as the series hurtles towards its conclusion.
