The official X account of Oshi No Ko live-action revealed a new trailer previewing the ending theme song for the film on Nov 12, 2024.
B-Komachi, the idol group featured in the series, performed the ending theme song “Shining Song”.
The trailer also confirmed that the film will be titled Oshi no Ko – The Final Act.
The live-action drama adaptation of Oshi no Ko, comprising of 8 episodes, will be released worldwide exclusively on Prime Video on Nov 28, 2024.
This will be followed by a live-action film, which is a sequel to the drama, releasing in theatres on Dec 20, 2024.
The film will be directed by Smith, known for his work on music videos for Ikimono Gakari, Ketsumeishi, Snow Man, and dramas such as Inside Mari and I Want to Hold Aono-kun so Badly I Could Die, along with Hana Matsumoto.
Ayako Kitagawa will serve as the scriptwriter.

- Asuka Saito as Ai Hoshino
- Kaito Sakurai as Aqua
- Nanoka Hara as Kana Arima
- Mizuki Kayashima as Akane Kurokawa
- ano as Memcho
Oshi no Ko is a Japanese manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020, with its chapters collected in fourteen tankobon volumes as of April 2024.
An anime television series adaptation, produced by Doga Kobo, a studio which was started by former Toei animation members, aired its first 11-episode season from April to June 2023. A second season is set to premiere in July 2024.
