Oshi No Ko‘s “Ichigo Production ☆ Fan Appreciation Festival 2023” event, which was held on Nov 26, 2023, unveiled a new teaser visual for the upcoming second season of the anime, along with a PV introducing the visual.
The teaser visual revealed that Oshi No Ko season 2 will start airing in 2024.
Oshi No Ko season 1 aired from April 12, 2023, to June 28, 2023.
The anime adaptation is being done by Doga Kobo.
Daisuke Hiramaki directed the anime, while Saori Tachibana serving as the assistant director. Series composition of season 1 was handled by Jin Tanaka and Kanna Hirayama was in charge of character designs.

YOASOBI performed the opening theme song for the anime “IDOL”. The full-length version of the song will be unveiled during the advanced screening of the anime
Akasaka who is the writer of the original manga said that the anime adaptation will be a good work, and asked fans to look forward to it.
Oshi no Ko is a manga series written by Kaguya Sama: Love is War creator Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, who is author of Kuzu no Honkai. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020, with its chapters collected in thirteen tankobon volumes as of November 2023.
By November 2023, Oshi no Ko had over 15 million copies in circulation.
