Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Unveils New Trailer, Addition Cast & Opening Theme Song Details

The Jujutsu Kaisen production committee released a new trailer for the upcoming season 3 during Jump Festa 2026 on Dec 20, 2025.

The new season is set to premiere on Jan 08, 2026, with a one-hour television special, which will include the first two episodes of Culling Game. The two episodes were already a part of the recently released compilation film Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution.

The trailer featured the series’ new opening theme song, “AIZO” performed by King Gnu. This marks the band’s third major contribution to the franchise. King Gnu previously performed “SPECIALZ,” the opening theme for season 2, as well as “Ichizu” and “Sakayume” for the prequel film Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

We are all confident that we have finished a song that newly updates the classic King Gnu style. As a viewer myself, I have been really looking forward to the Culling Game arc. Let’s kick things off with a bang right from the start of the New Year,” the artist said.

Yoshimasa Terui, known for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and Hi Score Girl, was announced as the composer for the new season’s score.

In addition to the opening theme song, the trailer also features the voices of the new cast members announced.

The newly announced cast members for Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 include Kazuya Nakai as the voice of Kinji Hakari, a suspended third-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Appearing alongside him is Yuki Sakakihara as Kirara Hoshi, a fellow third-year student and Hakari’s close associate.

Additionally, Tomokazu Sugita has joined the cast to voice Hiromi Higuruma, a defense attorney and participant in the Culling Game. The roster is rounded out by Satoshi Tsuruoka as the failed comedian Fumihiko Takaba, Yutaka Aoyama as the resurrected sorcerer Reggie Star, and Neeko as Kogane, the shikigami interface that guides players through the game’s rules.

Meanwhile, Yoshiko Sakakibara was confirmed to voice Tengen, while continuing her role as the series narrator.
