The highly anticipated third season of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled Culling Game Part 1, is set to premiere on Jan 8, 2026, airing every Thursday at 12:26 a.m. on the MBS/TBS network in Japan, as revealed by the official website of the anime.
Alongside the announcement, a new visual was also revealed, highlighting the confrontation between Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, as the latter has been tasked with Yuji’s execution.

Additionally, the website also introduced Koji Yusa as the voice of Naoya Zen’in, the son of Naobito Zen’in and cousin to Maki and Mai.
Yusa expressed his enthusiasm, noting that landing the role through an audition felt especially rewarding and calling the character unforgettable. A newly released character video showcases Naoya’s overwhelming speed and offers a first look at his presence in the upcoming arc.
Ahead of the broadcast release, a compilation movie titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution opened in Japan on Nov. 7, 2025.
The film will compile highlights from Season 2’s Shibuya Incident arc along with the first two episodes of Season 3, giving audiences an early look at the beginning of the Culling Game.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 aired in 2023 and ran for two continuous cours, adapting the manga’s Hidden Inventory / Premature Death and Shibuya Incident story arcs.
Jujutsu Kaisen manga was serialised in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, with its chapters collected in 28 tankobon volumes as of October 2024.
By September 2024, the manga had over 100 million copies in circulation, including related novels, digital versions, and Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
