The wait for the next Hunter x Hunter chapter is nearly over, as Shueisha has officially confirmed that chapter 411 will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #31, releasing on June 29.
It will mark the manga’s first new chapter since chapter 410, which was published in December 2024.
The announcement was made through the preview pages of Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #30 and on the magazine’s official X account. The upcoming chapter will also feature a commemorative center color page.
The announcement also coincides with the release of the manga’s long-awaited volume 39 on July 3.
The teaser for the upcoming chapter hints that the ongoing Succession Contest aboard the Black Whale will intensify further, stating, “What will become of Kurapika and the others?!“
Since December 2022, Hunter x Hunter has followed an irregular release schedule after Shueisha and creator Yoshihiro Togashi agreed to move away from weekly serialization due to the mangaka’s health.
Hunter x Hunter has been serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since March 1998.
It was adapted into a 62-episode anime television series produced by Nippon Animation and directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, which ran on Fuji Television from October 1999 to March 2001. Three separate original video animations (OVAs) totaling 30 episodes were subsequently produced by Nippon Animation and released in Japan from 2002 to 2004.
