The official website of the upcoming Helck anime dropped a brand new trailer on Feb 10, 2023, unveiling the voices of the main characters Helck and Vamirio.

The trailer also reveals that the anime will release in July 2023.

The site also revealed two visuals featuring Helck and Vamirio along with the trailer.

Newly announced cast includes:

• Katsuyuki Konishi as Helck

• Mikako Komatsu as Vamirio (Vermilio)

• Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Azudra

• Akira Ishida as Hon

• Shiki Aoki as Asuta

• Haruka Shiraishi as Isuta

Staff includes:

• Director: Tatsuo Sato
• Scenario: Toshizo Nemoto/Mitsutaka Hirota
• Anime Character Design: Yoshinori Deno
• Music: Yoshihisa Hirano

Helck is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nanaki Nanao. It was serialized in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app from May 2014 to December 2017, with its chapters collected into twelve tankobon volumes.

In June 2022, Viz Media announced that they licensed the series for English publication.

A spin-off manga titled Piwi: Fushigi na Ikimono was serialized in the MangaONE app from July 16 to Oct 8, 2018. A prequel manga titled Völundio: Divergent Sword Saga began serialization in the Ura Sunday website and the MangaONE app on Aug 31, 2020. It has been collected into three tankōbon volumes as of February 2022.
