Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man Part 2 has officially concluded with chapter 232, released on March 24 on Shonen Jump+, bringing an end to the manga’s second major arc with no continuation announced.
The official X account of Chainsaw Man acknowledged the milestone, announcing that the final chapter had been released and thanking readers for their continued support throughout the serialization.
To commemorate the conclusion, Shonen Jump+ has launched a limited-time campaign offering free access to the first 40 chapters of Part 1 and the first 49 chapters of Part 2. The campaign will run until April 8.
Notably, no Part 3 or continuation of Chainsaw Man was teased alongside the finale. Instead, the final chapter’s message direct attention toward Fujimoto’s future projects, suggesting the creator may shift focus to a new work following the end of Part 2.
The manga’s final compiled volume, Volume 24, is scheduled for release on June 4.
Part 2 launched in July 2022 on Shonen Jump+, continuing the story in a different setting and narrative direction. The second part ran for 135 chapters, concluding with chapter 232.
The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018 and has surpassed 35 million copies in circulation.
The first season of Chainsaw Man, produced by MAPPA, aired from October to December 2022. Following this, an anime film, titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, premiered in September 2025. The film has grossed over USD 179 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Japanese films of all time.
An anime adaptation of the Assassins Arc has been announced during Jump Festa 2026.
