Leaks for Black Clover‘s Chapter 319 surfaced on the internet and immediately started trending on Twitter as fans compared its turn of events to that of Bleach.

In the latest chapter the Magic Knight Captains go up against the strongest devil, Lucifero. It turns out that the fight between the captains and Lucifero reminded readers of Bleach‘s fight between the Gotei 13 and Aizen.

Despite the Gotei 13 putting in every last bit of their power, they could not hurt Aizen at all in the fight. Similarly, even the entire brigade of captains in Black Clover seem to be taking damage themselves.

Along with the fight, a panel of Nozel too was the focus of many discussions. In it, we can see Lucifero covering Nozel’s face with a single hand.

In the current arc, Asta and the Magic Knights are facing off against the devils in a bid to protect the Heart Kingdom and the world from the impending doom that these underworld beings aim to cause.

Black Clover is a manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata. It began serialization in in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in February 2015, with its chapters being collected into 31 tankobon volumes.
