Vinland Saga Season 2 Reveals Cast & Staff Comments

A video with all comments from the staff and the cast was also released on the official website.

The official website of Vinland Saga anime revealed the comments from the cast and staff for season 2 along with the PV and Jan 2023 release date of the anime. The official twitter account of Vinland Saga anime posted translated version of the cast comments on twitter.

A video incorporating all the comments from staff and the cast for Vinland Saga Season 2, titled ‘Season 2 Project Movie’ too was unveiled on the website.

Director Shuhei Yabuta and character designer Takahiko Abiru both tweeted their comments after the trailer was revealed. While Yabuta thanked the fans for their patience, Abiru assured that the entire creative staff was working hard to improve the quality of Vinland Saga Season 2.

Abiru also tweeted a new illustration for Season 2.

The official website of Vinland Saga anime revealed a new PV and key visual for Vinland Saga Season 2 on June 8, 2022. The anime will air on Tokyo MX and BS11 in Japan from Jan 2023. A key visual along with the cast and staff of the anime was also revealed.

Studio MAPPA is animating Season 2 of Vinland Saga with staff and cast from Season 1 of the anime being retained.

Additionally Vinland Saga Season 1 will be rebroadcast on Tokyo MX and BS11 from Monday, July 11, 2022 at 24:30 JST.

Vinland Saga is a Japanese historical manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura. The series is published by Kodansha and was first serialized in the youth-targeted Weekly Shōnen Magazine before moving to the monthly manga magazine Monthly Afternoon, aimed at young adult men.

As of July 2021, the series has been compiled into twenty-five bound volumes. Vinland Saga has also been licensed for English-language publication by Kodansha USA.

An anime adaptation by WIT Studio premiered on July 7, 2019, to December 29, 2019, consisting of 24 episodes.
