MAPPA streamed a new teaser for the second part of Culling Game arc’s anime adaptation, titled Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4: Culling Game Part 2, during their 15th anniversary line-up reveal livestream.

The teaser revealed that Takru Sato will be taking over as the director for the upcoming instalment of the anime adaptation from Shota Goshozono.

Sato had served as the assistant director in first part of the Culling Game anime adaptation.

Goshozono, meanwhile, has not left the Jujutsu Kaisen production team as many fans had feared. He has, instead, been promoted to the role of Chief Director of the series and will be in charge of overseeing the work.

In his comment, Sato revealed that he was honored to be chosen to helm the Season 4 of Jujutsu Kaisen anime, and that despite the weight of the responsibility that came with directing such a beloved series, he was determined to give his all to the work.

I am honored to announce that I will be serving as the director for Season 4 of the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen, ‘Culling Game Part 2.’

Every day, I strongly feel the heavy weight of the responsibility of being entrusted with such an intensely passionate series and a precious original work loved by so many.

I draw a great deal of strength from the passion and the cumulative efforts of the staff and cast who have supported Jujutsu Kaisen up to this point.

Furthermore, while firmly inheriting the expressions and possibilities that the Jujutsu Kaisen series has pioneered thus far, I will put my absolute all into this project so that the charm of the work can be sublimated into animation in the best possible form.

All of our staff members are working earnestly on this production, so I would be thrilled if you could look forward to it.
,” Sato noted in his comment.

While a new teaser was streamed, there is no information regarding when the anime will actually release.
