‘Let Hayashi Sleep!!’ Fans Express Concern For Attack On Titan Final Season Director

Concerns arose after BTS Workings Surface Online.

NHK had revealed a preview video of “100 Kame Attack on Titan,” a documentary which gives us a sneak peak into the behind the scene working of the final season of the anime. This included installing 100 cameras in the studio in order to capture the footages of all the process.

One such footage that garnered all the attention was that of the director, Yuichiro Hayashi. Hayashi is in charge of creating storyboards, modifying layouts, etc. of Attack On Titan Final Season Final Part.

Fans were quick to point out the bags under his eyes, linking it to the lack of sleep he must be getting. They also hoped that this documentary will be an eye opener for “fans” with unrealistic expectations as to how daunting animation can be.

They even requested MAPPA to let Hayashi take a break and catch up on sleep, even if it meant postponing the release of the final part of the anime.

On the other hand there were some who were more hyped about the upcoming season and what Hayashi has in store for them. Some even pointed out that Hayashi’s prominent eyebags weren’t anything new, and that those expressing concerns shouldn’t be blowing the situation out of proportion.
