NHK had revealed a preview video of “100 Kame Attack on Titan,” a documentary which gives us a sneak peak into the behind the scene working of the final season of the anime. This included installing 100 cameras in the studio in order to capture the footages of all the process.
One such footage that garnered all the attention was that of the director, Yuichiro Hayashi. Hayashi is in charge of creating storyboards, modifying layouts, etc. of Attack On Titan Final Season Final Part.
Fans were quick to point out the bags under his eyes, linking it to the lack of sleep he must be getting. They also hoped that this documentary will be an eye opener for “fans” with unrealistic expectations as to how daunting animation can be.
Fans also expressed concern on how the staff of AOT were striving to give the viewers the best, giving up their sleep, yet are subjected to a lot of hate.
They even requested MAPPA to let Hayashi take a break and catch up on sleep, even if it meant postponing the release of the final part of the anime.
On the other hand there were some who were more hyped about the upcoming season and what Hayashi has in store for them. Some even pointed out that Hayashi’s prominent eyebags weren’t anything new, and that those expressing concerns shouldn’t be blowing the situation out of proportion.
Attack On Titan Final Season part 1 of the final edition will be a one-hour special. It will release on March 3, 2023, and will air on NHK.
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 had ended leaving just 9 chapters of the manga left to be adapted in Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3.
The Final Season’s Part 2 premiered on Jan 9, 2022 in Japan. Crunchyroll and Funimation were streaming the episodes simultaneously as they aired. The dubbed version of Attack on Titan: Final Season part 2 began airing on Toonami on Feb 12, 2022.
Season 1-3 of the anime was produced by Wit Studio and season 4 by MAPPA.
