The official website of the latest Kaguya Sama film, titled Kaguya-sama: Love is War: The First Kiss Never Ends, revealed its TV broadcast date on March 17, 2023.

While the full film will officially make its television debut on April 5, 2023, MBS will be airing it in two parts, with the first half airing on March 31, 2023, and 2nd part on April 2, 2023.

Kaguya Sama: Love Is War anime film released in the Japanese theatres on Dec 17, 2022. The film also will be screened in select theatres in the U.S. in February 2023.

Masayuki Suzuki performed opening theme song for the film. The opening theme is “Love is Show,” while  Airi Suzuki performed the ending theme song “heart notes”.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War: The First Kiss Never Ends anime film will follow the events of season 3. The movie is also the first ever anime movie for the series.

Like the previous seasons, A-1 Pictures will be in charge of animating the movie. A-1 Picutes’ producer Kenshiro Yamada said that the events of arc in question will only take up about two hours of screen time and it made sense for it to be made into a movie.

The key cast from previous seasons will be returning to reprise their role in the movie. Character Designer and animation director Yuko Yahiro too is set to return as a staff member for the upcoming Kaguya Sama movie.

Vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya and student council president Miyuki Shirogane met at Shuchiin Academy’s student council . After a long love battle, the two geniuses communicated their feelings to each other and kissed for the first time at the Annual Cultural Festival. However, they have not reached a clear confession yet, and the relationship between the two, who were thought to be lovers, remains ambiguous, and they come to Christmas with a stronger awareness of each other. Shirogane “wants to be perfect” and Kaguya seeks to be “not perfect”. This is a very “ordinary” love story by geniuses. First kiss never ends.

Kaguya Sama: Love Is War is a manga series written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka. It began serialization in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Miracle Jump in May 2015 and was transferred to Weekly Young Jump in March 2016.

A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by A-1 Pictures aired in Japan from January to March 2019. A second season aired from April to June 2020. An OVA episode was released in 2021. Kaguya Sama Season 3 aired on April 8, 2022.
