Haikyu!! anime’s highly anticipated event, “Haikyu!! Festa 2023 – Great Send-Off Party,” has been postponed from its originally scheduled date in August to September 2023.
The kick-off event, which marks the countdown to the release of the theatrical anime film “Haikyu!! FINAL,” based on the original work by Haruichi Furudate, will now take place on Sep 24, 2023, at Musashino Forest Sports Plaza in Tokyo.
“Haikyu!! Festa 2023 – Great Send-Off Party” will be the largest event ever held for the franchise.
The event will be graced by the presence of eight cast members of the anime: Ayumu Murase (Shoyo Hinata VA), Kaito Ishikawa (Tobio Kageyama VA), Akira Ishida (Kei Tsukishima VA), Yoshimasa Hosoya (Daichi Sawamura VA), Yu Hayashi (Ryunosuke Tanaka VA), Toshiki Masuda (Yu Nishinoya VA), Kaori Nazuka (Kiyoko Shimizu VA), and Sumire Morohoshi (Hitoka Yachi VA).
The cast members will engage in a special live-reading of the script penned by the mangaka Haruichi Furudate, along a live music performance to further immerse the audience in the captivating world of “Haikyu!!.”
According to the official website, “the event aims to gather the cast members and fans together to cheer on and send off the Karasuno High School volleyball club, anticipating the intense battles in the theatrical film. It will truly be a fitting event for the ‘Haikyu!!’ fans, a grand send-off party“.
Tickets for this highly anticipated event will be available for purchase starting July 17, 2023, through Ticket Pia.

Haikyu!! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020, with its chapters collected in 45 tankōbon volumes.
An anime television series adaptation produced by Production I.G, aired on MBS from April 2014 to September 2014, with 25 episodes. A second season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, with 25 episodes.
Season 3 of the anime aired from October 2016 to December 2016, with 10 episodes. A fourth season was announced during the Jump Festa ’19 and was released in two cours; the first 13-episode cour aired from January to April 2020, and the second 12-episode cour aired from October to December 2020.
