In a surprising turn of events, One Piece manga has published its first unfinished chapter in its 26-year history of serialization. Mangaka Eiichiro Oda has issued a heartfelt apology to all the dedicated fans for submitting an incomplete chapter.
This development happened in the latest chapter of the manga (chapter 1098), which was released on Nov 12, 2023.
Instead of a typical author’s note, he inscribed a message on the character Brooke’s pants. The message reads, “I didn’t finish the art in time. I am sorry“.
