The official website for the Witch Hat Atelier anime announced that the series will premiere on April 6, 2026, unveiling a main promotional video, theme song details, new key visual and additional cast members.
The anime had initially been scheduled for release in 2025 but was postponed, with the production team previously stating the delay was necessary to ensure the highest possible quality.
The opening theme, “Kaze no Anthem feat. suis from yorushika” (Anthem of Wind), will be performed by Eve. The ending theme, “Tada Utsukushii no Noroi” (Just a Beautiful Curse), is performed by Nakamura Hak. Portions of both songs are previewed in the promotional video.

Newly announced cast includes:
- Hibiku Yamamura as Agott
- Kurumi Haruki as Tetia
- Hika Tsukishiro as Richeh
- Yūichi Nakamura as Olruggio
- Misaki Kuno as Brushbuddy
- Mitsuki Saiga as Iguin
It was also revealed that an advance screening of Episodes 1 through 3 will be held March 15 at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo. Cast members Reina Motomura (Coco), Natsuki Hanae (Qifrey), Hibiku Yamamura (Agott), Kurumi Haruki (Tetia) and Hina Tsukishiro (Richeh) are set to appear at a post-screening talk event.
A North American advance screening is also planned, with details to be announced later.
The main staff includes Ayumu Watanabe as director, Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring) composing the music, and Kairi Unabara handling character design. Animation production is being managed by BUGS FILMS.
Witch Hat Atelier is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kamome Shirahama. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Morning Two magazine since July 2016, with its chapters collected into 14 tankobon volumes as of April 2025.
