With just 6 more days remaining until the release of the final chapter (177) of Soichiro Yamamoto’s Teasing Master Takagi-San, a new spin-off manga has been announced.
The new spin-off manga is titled “Karakai jouzu (?) no Nishikata-san“. It is scheduled to start serializing in Monthly Shonen Sunday issue 12/2023, which will release on Nov 10, 2023.
The plot of Karakai jouzu (?) no Nishikata-san follows Takagi and Nishikata’s daughter Chi and her classmate as middle school students.
Although the two characters have already made appearances in “Karakai Jōzu no (Moto) Takagi-san,” the new spin-off manga is primarily centered around them.
Karakai jouzu (?) no Nishikata-san will be illustrated by Inaba Mifum, the artist of Karakai Jōzu no (Moto) Takagi-san.
Teasing Master Takagi-san is a Japanese manga written by Soichiro Yamamoto. The series began serialization in Shogakukan’s shonen manga magazine supplement Monthly Shonen Sunday Mini on June 12, 2013, and then it moved to the main Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine on July 12, 2016.
As of March 2023, it has been collected in nineteen tankobon volumes.
The series is set to end on Oct 12, 2023.
A spin-off manga series, titled Ashita wa Doyobi was serialized in the newspaper Yomiuri Chukosei Shimbun from Nov 7, 2014 to November 2015. A second spin-off manga series, titled Koi ni Koisuru Yukari-chan was serialized in Monthly Shonen Sunday from July 12, 2017 to April 11, 2020.
A third spin-off, titled Karakai Jozu no (Moto) Takagi-san featuring an adult Takagi, now married to Nishikata, and their daughter, Chi, started in MangaONE app on July 15, 2017. It has been collected into eighteen tankōbon volumes.
