One Punch Man Ichigeki Maji fight game development company, Gree, Inc. has entered the vertical manga production business. Gree acquired the newly established manga streaming platform Dadan Co., Ltd.

DADAN began a new manga platform business as well as a manga production company. It deals in planning and production of majorly vertical reading manga.

The growth of vertical reading manga has been steadily rising since 2014 as stated by “2022 Annual Publication Index”. It has exceeded 450 billion yen in 2021.

Gree will be using its gaming/animation business, metaverse business expertise along with their experience of platform management service, content planning/production to enhance the vertical manga reading experience. The platform will be releasing in this winter.

About DADAN
