The official YouTube channel of One Piece started streaming a teaser for the MV of Uta’s I am the strongest’ song from the One Piece Film: Red movie on June 22, 2022.

The song is composed by Mrs. GREEN APPLE and sung by Ado, Uta’s singing cast. The MV animation is done by Ai Ina, an artist known for her work on YOASOBI’s ‘Running into the Night’.

A colorful rendition of Uta can be seen in the teaser MV.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE commented on the song saying she created the song as an answer to the energy she felt while watching One Piece.

“I have been energized by ‘One Piece’ since I was a child, so I created this song ‘I am the Strongest’ as an answer to that energy,” the artist said.

She further added that the song also tries to express the delicate nuances of Uta, who has her own weaknesses, but pushes herself to be strong and perform on the stage.

This is the second in a series of MV videos that will be released for Uta’s songs from the movie.

The first teaser MV was released on June 8, 2022 for the song ‘New Era’, which was composed by Yasutaka Nakata and sung by Ado.

A total of 7 songs will be featured in the movie namely “I am the strongest” composed by Mrs. GREEN APPLE, “Backlight” by Vaundy, “Tot Musica” produced by Hiroyuki Sawano, “Continuing the World” by Yuta Orisaka, “Utakata Lullaby” by FAKE TYPE and Motohiro Hata’s “Kaze no Yukue”.

All of Uta’s songs in the movie are sung by Ado.

One Piece Film: Red, which is the fourth instalment in the One Piece Film franchise, is set to release in Japan on Aug 6, 2022.

The movie’s world premiere will however be held on July 22, which also celebrated as the One Piece Day

Goro Taniguchi returns to the franchise for the first time since 1998 to direct One Piece Film: Red. Tsutomu Kuroiwa will be in charge of the screenplay. Toei Animation is animating the film with original author Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer.

The movie features and centers on the mysterious character Uta, who is teased to be Shanks daughter in the teaser. Uta’s character design was revealed on March 28, 2022. 

One Piece Film: Red also unveiled the cast for the Red Haired Pirates and character visuals for the marines and the world government characters recently.
