Naruto Novels Get Manga Adaptations in 2022

A new visual for the Boruto anime and a project logo for Naruto's 20th anniversary project was also revealed

Noruto Novel Gets Manga Adaptation

NARUTO & BORUTO stage event at the Jump Festa ’22 announced on Saturday, Dec 18, 2021, that two novels Naruto: Konoha Shinden: Yukemuri Ninpōchō and Naruto: Sasuke’s Story–The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust in the Naruto franchise are getting manga adaptations on the Shonen Jump+ app and website in 2022.

Natsuo Sai is in charge of adapting the Naruto: Konoha Shinden: Yukemuri Ninpōchō manga, and Shingo Kimura will adapt the Naruto: Sasuke’s Story–The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust (Naruto: Sasuke Retsuden: Uchiha no Matsuei to Tenkyū no Hoshikuzu) manga.

Sho Hinata wrote Naruto: Konoha Shinden: Yukemuri Ninpōchō novel. It “ties together Naruto and Boruto,” and pinpoints the events between the final chapter of the original Naruto manga and the Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring spinoff manga. The novel was shipped in Japan on August 2016

Jun Esaka‘s Naruto: Sasuke’s Story–The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust novel was originally shipped in August 2019. Viz Media will release the Retsuden novels including Esaka’s novel starting next summer.

In addition, an anniversary logo, a special digest PV, and a teaser visual to commemorate the 20th-anniversary of the Naruto anime series at Jump Festa 2022 were released.

A new key visual and a Kawaki Arc digest PV for the ongoing TV series BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS were also unveiled during the event.
