Manga Plus, the official online manga platform owned by Shueisha, announced on Feb 16 that it has added a new feature allowing readers to officially design and purchase T-shirts using selected manga panels from titles available on the service.
The feature, which became available worldwide on web and mobile, excluding Japan, China and Korea, lets users to choose manga pages directly within the platform and generate custom T-shirts printed in Japan.
More than 270 titles are currently supported as of Feb 16, 2026, spanning ongoing hits such as SPY x FAMILY and Dandadan to completed series including My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen and Kaiju No. 8.
According to the official release, fans can select a page from any available language version on the platform. However, the printed design will always use the original Japanese artwork and text.
“The designs are printed in Japan and will be the original Japanese artwork and text, offering fans a new way to enjoy manga beyond the screen. The printed Japanese version is the very first version published. This means they’re the magazine version if they’re a Weekly Shonen Jump titles such as ONE PIECE and Sakamoto Days. These magazine versions may include promotional text or differ slightly from the translated versions,” they stated.

After selecting a page, customers are redirected to an external checkout page where they can choose shirt color and size before completing the order.
Four color options, white, black, navy and grey, are available, along with six sizes ranging from S to XXXL. Each shirt is priced at USD39.99, excluding shipping and region-specific fees.
It is to be noted that this is only limited to “eligible pages within supported titles and chapters.” Selectable pages are marked with a “Create” icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
The FAQ notes that eligibility generally applies to chapters originally published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan or on the Shonen Jump+ platform from December 2017 onward.
Yuta Momiyama, editor-in-chief of Shonen Jump+, said the company hopes the feature gives fans another way to express their support for favorite series. He noted that a similar service already exists domestically in Japan and described the expansion as an opportunity to offer overseas readers a more tangible connection to the stories they follow digitally.
“We’re very excited to have this feature available for the MANGA Plus fans! This feature is similar to the one we have here in Japan, and I believe it’s a really fun way to show your support for a manga you like. It’s really wonderful to live in an era where there are so many ways you can express yourself and the love you have for something. I hope that these T-shirts give people a new way to connect with manga and the stories they love. The T-shirts are made to order in Japan, so depending on your location, it could take a little while for it to get to you, but maybe you can enjoy waiting for your T-shirt while re-reading your favorite story!”
The project is operated in partnership with Tokyo Otaku Mode, which oversees payment processing and global distribution.
