The third season of the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, which will adapt the manga’s Culling Game Arc, is scheduled to begin broadcasting in January 2026. The announcement was made alongside the release of a new teaser video during a special program commemorating the anime’s fifth anniversary on Aug 31, 2025.
Crunchyroll later revealed that they will stream the third season for global audiences, excluding Asia, with new episodes available on the same day as their broadcast in Japan.
The teaser video depicts events following the Shibuya Incident arc, and includes footage of a confrontation between Itadori and Okkotsu, as well as appearances by characters Megumi Fushiguro, Choso, Maki Zen’in and Yuki Tsukumo.

Shota Goshozono will reprise his role as director at Studio MAPPA for the upcoming season. The staff also includes Hiroshi Seko overseeing and writing series scripts, Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa returning as character designers, and Yoshimasa Terui composing the music.
The main voice cast, including Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori, Yuma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro, Daisuke Namikawa as Choso, and Megumi Ogata as Yuta Okkotsu, are also set to return.
Jujutsu Kaisen anime gets new compilation film:
Ahead of the new season, a theatrical release titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins will open in Japan on Nov 7, 2025, with subsequent worldwide releases planned.
The film will feature a compiled version of the second season’s Shibuya Incident arc and will also screen the first two episodes of the upcoming third season.

In addition to the above, more fifth-anniversary celebrations were also revealed during the program.
An exhibition covering the Hidden Inventory and Shibuya Incident arcs will be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Tokyo from Dec 5 to Dec 29, 2025, before touring other cities.
A large-scale fan event, “Juju Fes,” was announced for the summer of 2026. Additionally, a new teaser was revealed for an upcoming arc in the mobile game Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade.
