The official X account of Jujutsu Kaisen revealed a new PV for its sequel manga, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, with animation produced by MAPPA.
The video directed by Shun Miyakawa, who previously worked as a key animator on the Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc film. It also features voice appearances from Junya Enoki, who plays Yuji Itadori, and Nobunaga Shimazaki, known for voicing Mahito in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.
The PV was released to commemorate the third and final volume of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which went on sale on May 1.
The story of Modulo is Set 68 years after the Culling Game arc of the original series, as an alien race called Simurians have landed on Earth seeking a place to stay. As a part of their efforts to scout the planet and assess it, the Simurians send one of their members, Marulu, to team up with Jujutsu Sorcerers Yuka Okkotsu and Tsurugi Okkotsu. At the same time, the Jujutsu Society and Japan too are testing to see if co-existing with aliens is a possibility.
Modulo, which was created by Gege Akutami and Yuji Iwasaki, was serialized as a short-term project in Weekly Shonen Jump from Issue #41 of 2025.
The spin-off concluded its run with chapter 25 on March 8, 2026.
