The official X account of Jujutsu Kaisen franchise announced on Dec 20, 2025, that the cumulative worldwide circulation of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga has surpassed 150 million copies.
The figure, which includes digital versions, eclipsed the estimated circulation of popular titles including Attack on Titan, which stood at approximately 140 million copies. It also surpassed Tite Kubo’s Bleach, recorded at over 130 million copies, and Hirohiko Araki’s long-running JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, which had approximately 120 million copies in circulation.
Jujutsu Kaisen has added 50 million copies to its total circulation in the one year and three months since its conclusion. Addressing the series’ sustained momentum, a representative for the publisher commented that “even after the conclusion of its six-and-a-half-year serialization, it continues to ignite enthusiasm around the world.”
Shueisha had previously reported the series reached the 100 million copy mark on Sep 30, 2024, the same day the final chapter was published in Weekly Shonen Jump. No official updates regarding circulation records had been issued between the 2024 conclusion and the Dec 20 announcement.

In conjunction with the sales milestone, Shueisha also confirmed that the first volume of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, would be released on Jan 05, 2026.
The spin-off is currently running as a short-term serialization since Sep 2025. During the start of its serialization, it was revealed that the spin-off sequel series would only run for a span of three volumes.
Additionally, at the Jump Festa 2026 event held on Dec 20, a new trailer for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 was unveiled. Season 3 is set to adapt the “Culling Game” arc, and will begin broadcasting in January 2026.
Written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on March 05, 2018. The narrative, centering on high school student Yuji Itadori and his involvement with the society of Jujutsu Sorcerers, ran for approximately six and a half years.
The series concluded its run on Sep 30, 2024 with chapter 271.
The manga was collected into 30 tankobon volumes in Japan. The final volume, Volume 30, was released domestically on Dec 25, 2024. For international markets, Viz Media holds the English licensing rights, with the final localized volumes scheduled for publication throughout 2026.
