The official instagram account of Japan Film and Music Festival released the screening schedule for its upcoming event in Delhi.
The event takes place from Nov 4, 2022 to Nov 6, 2022. The schedule revealed is as follows:
- Nov 4 schedule:
- Your Name. orchestra concert (120 mins runtime) – 19:30 hrs
- Nov 5 schedule:
- Weathering With You (113 mins runtime) – 11:00 hrs
- 5 Centimeters per Second (63 mins runtime) – 13:30 hrs
- Your Name. orchestra concert (120 mins runtime) – 15:00 hrs
- The Garden of Words (46 mins runtime) – 17:30 hrs
- Forever In The Daze Tour 2021 – 2022 (150 mins runtime) – 19:00 hrs
- Nov 6 schedule:
- Your Name. movie (107 mins runtime) – 11:00 hrs
- The Place Promised In Our Early Days (91 mins runtime) – 13:30 hrs
- Forever In The Daze Tour 2021 – 2022 (150 mins runtime) – 15:30 hrs
- Children Who Chase Lost- Voices (116 mins runtime) – 18:30 hrs
None of the screenings have an intermission.
Bookings for Japan Film and Music Festival in Delhi open on Oct 19, 2022. Further details will be revealed on the official instagram page. Those who book tickets before Oct 24, 2022 can get a 20-25% discount using “JFMF22DEL,” subject to availability of seats.
The on-ground festival is returning to Indian cities after a gap of three years.
The schedule for the festival is as follows:
- Delhi: Nov 4-6
- Mumbai: Nov 11-13
- Chennai: Nov 25-27
- Bengaluru: Dec 9-11
The Japan Film and Music festival is an initiative by the Japan Foundation, aiming to spread Japanese films overseas. The JFF was first held in 2016 in ASEAN countries and Australia, and expanded its area to China and India in 2017, and to Russia in 2018.
