The official website of the upcoming Golden Kamuy live-action film revealed its second trailer on Nov 29, 2023, previewing the theme song.
It has been decided that Japanese rock band ACIDMAN will perform the theme song “Kagayakerumono”.
Comment from ACIDMAN’s vocalist and composer, Nobuo Oki, regarding the theme song for Golden Kamuy live-action film has also been revealed. It can be read below:
We received this offer 20 minutes before a live performance.
I was so excited because it was the theme song for a live-action adaptation of my favorite manga!
The idea came to me immediately, and I ran to the bathroom (pretending to be calm) and blasted the idea into my voice memo all at once.
The beautiful way of life of the Ainu people living in harmony with nature, juxtaposed with our fleeting existence as we forget the earth and chase after desires.
I would be happy if I could contribute to this film in the form of a song that would give us the strength to live strongly while wavering between right and wrong.
May every momentary flicker of life become something that shines.
Moreover, a new character visual was also revealed.
