Edens Zero

The official website of Edens Zero season 2 dropped a new trailer previewing the new opening theme song on Feb 15, 2023. Takanori Nishikawa performed the opening theme song “Never say never”.

The trailer also unveils new characters who will be appearing in the second season of the anime. The characters are part of special force called Element 4.

Edens Zero season 2 will start airing on April 1, 2023.

Newly announced cast and their comments include:

  • Taku Yashiro as Laguna
Laguna

Comment:

I think Laguna is a character with a lot of depth, from his aloofness to his passion, from his solitude to his love for others. There is always so much to see in EDENS ZERO, a work with a huge worldview. I hope I can express the character of Laguna who lives in the world of EDENS ZERO.
I am very happy to be able to perform in this work. Like everyone else, I can’t wait for the second season to air. I would be very happy if you could watch over this world where the lives of many characters, including Shiki, are mixed together.

  • Rumi Okubo as Sylph
Sylph

Comment:

I will be playing Sylph of the Wind, Element 4! Sylph is a beautiful, quiet, windy girl with a distinctive accent… and she has many attributes. Of course, being one of the 4 elements, she is very strong in battle! But that’s not all, she also has many other things on her mind… Please watch the anime to find out what kind of girl Sylph is!
As someone who has been exposed to Hiro Mashima’s works since childhood, I am very honored to be in charge of Sylph of the Wind. EDENS ZERO has exciting adventures, fascinating characters, bonds with friends, and cool battle scenes.

  • Toshiki Masuda as Fie
Fai

Comment:

Fei is a flaming sniper who never misses his target, even at long range. I think that the cross stories and the exciting storylines are the highlights of the series.
I played Fei in a blunt, passionate and brutal way. I would be happy if you feel that he is a bad-ass guy.

  • Atsushi Imaruoka as Daichi
Daichi

Comment:

My first impression of Daichi was “What a disgusting character!” and so I had a lot of trouble playing the role, but I decided to just enjoy playing the role and let it go. I hope I can become the No. 1 character you dislike when you watch and listen to my performance. Please look forward to the appearance of Element 4!
I am deeply moved to be allowed to participate in Hiro Mashima’s works following Fairy Tail! There is still more to come!
