Following the release of Dorohedoro season 2’s final episode, the official X account for the anime announced that its third season is officially in production.
The account thanked fans for watching the finale and confirmed the sequel with a celebratory post that read, “Dorohedoro Season 3 has officially been confirmed for production!!“
The announcement was accompanied by a new illustration from director Yuichiro Hayashi featuring the devil Haru passionately singing about their excitement and impatience for the continuation of the series.

To commemorate the season 2 finale, a new music video for the anime featuring “Zettai Must Danmen,” the opening theme song performed by (K)NoW_NAME was released. The video includes footage from all 11 episodes of season 2 alongside scenes from the first season.
The first season of Dorohedoro was broadcast from January to March 2020, followed by a second season from April to May 2026.
Dorohedoro is a manga written and illustrated by Q Hayashida. The series ran across multiple Shogakukan magazines, starting in Monthly Ikki (November 2000–September 2014), then moving to Hibana (March 2015–August 2017), and finally concluding in Monthly Shonen Sunday (November 2017–September 2018). The manga was collected into 23 tankobon volumes in total.
