The official X account of Science SARU announced the second season of Dandadan anime, confirming that it is slated to be released in July 2025.
Accompanying the announcement was a brand new key visual.
Dandadan anime produced by Science Saru premiered on Oct 3, 2024.
Fuga Yamashiro served as the director of the anime adaptation, with Hiroshi Seko in charge of scripts. Kensuke Ushio composed the music, Naoyuki Onda handled character designs, with Yoshimichi Kameda designing aliens and supernatural entities.
Creepy Nuts performed the opening theme song Otonoke.
Dandadan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service since April 2021, with its chapters collected into 17 tankobon volumes as of November 2024.
The series is simultaneously published in English and Spanish on Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform and in English on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump website.
