Oricon has finally released their list of best selling manga in Japan for the year of 2022. Jujutsu Kaisen tops the list with over 12.8 million copies sold overall, beating Tokyo Revengers by a small margin. Though the manga managed to retain its top spot, the numbers reveal that it’s sales fell by more than half compared to sales in best selling manga list of 2021.

Spy x Family and One Piece moved up in the top 10 best selling manga of 2022 list, while Demon Slayer, who came in at second position last year, Attack on Titan and Haikyuu! slipped out of it. Chainsaw Man too dropped down one place and came in at number 8 this year. Blue Lock, Do Not Say Mystery and Kaiju No. 8 were the new additions in the top ten.

The ranking follows the same trend as the half yearly sales ranking which was released in June 2022. Check out the list of best selling manga in Japan for the year 2022 below!

Oricon also released volume wise sales list for the best selling manga of 2022. Jujutsu Kaisen once again the topped the list. One Piece meanwhile occupied 4 slots in the top ten. Spy x Family volumes occupies 7 of the top 20 spots.
