The official website of the upcoming Fall 2021 anime World’s End Harem announced on Friday that the anime’s production committee has delayed the anime’s episode 2 and later episodes from this fall to January 2022.
According to the official website, the reason for this delay is due to a need to “closely examine” the anime’s production.
In addition, episode 1 will air in Japan as scheduled, but it will not stream until January 2022. It will not be available on Crunchyroll to stream who was the official worldwide distributor of this series.
They streamed the episode on Twitter and YouTube on September 25, 2021 as an early screening as well.
The anime will have a total of 11 episodes, according to their four Blu-ray and DVD volumes. The delay also affected their release dates.
The editorial department of Shonen Jump Plus where the manga has been serialized calls the delay “regrettable.”
In fact, the manga has also experienced halts on its Android and iOS apps since the work launched in 2016. As of 2021, it’s available on the official website Shonen Jump Plus, and Android.
However, it has not been available on the iOS app store, before 2017. Referring to both, the anime’s delay and the manga’s suspension, they make a firm resolution “World’s End Harem will never cease even in the face of obstacles”.
