Baidu, a Chinese multinational technology company, revealed in a post on Sunday, Feb 28, 2022, that a domain has been registered based on Inio Asano‘s Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction manga, indicating a possible anime adaptation of the same.
While no official announcements have been made, Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits issue 13 teased that an important announcement regarding the series will be done on March 23, 2022.
Asano tweeted his impressions for the manga and revealed he would take a break from drawing manga for a while, however would come back with an easy-to-remember title for his next work.
All 12 volumes of the manga will be released on Mar 30, 2022.
Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Inio Asano.
It is about two high school girls who struggle with the mundanity of life after an alien spaceship descends on Japan.
The final chapter of the manga was published in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits issue 13 released on Feb 28, 2022.
The manga has been serialized in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits since April 2014. It is licensed in North America by Viz Media. It won the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category in 2021.
