Faputa’s Voice Actress Reached Her Limits While Recording For Latest Made In Abyss Episode

The final episode of Made In Abyss Season 2 will air on Sep 28, 2022.

Misaki Kuno, the voice actress for Faputa in Made in Abyss Season 2, revealed in her recent tweet that she reached her limits during the post-recording session of the anime’s 11th episode.

Kuno said that she had reached her limits both physically and mentally, however, she was able to push beyond her limits and perform in her role.

“During the post-recording of episode 11, I reached my limit both mentally and physically. There were moments when I was even able to go beyond,” a translation of Kuno’s tweet read.

She went on to say that she was happy that everyone could see her perform in such a role and thanked the staff and cast members who worked in the anime for their support.

“Thanks to the support of the many staff members and cast members, I was able to perform,” the voice actress wrote.

Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 11 had high stakes involved in it, as Reg went up against a rampaging Faputa in battle.

Faputa was indeed the highlight of the past couple of episodes, as fans praised the depth of Misaki Kuno’s voice acting. They were of the opinion that she made the character even more loveable and added more depth to the scenes in which Faputa was present.

The final episode of Made In Abyss Season 2 will air on Sep 28, 2022. It was earlier revealed that the final episode will be an hour-long episode.

The second season of the anime, titled Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, started airing on July 6, 2022.

Kinema Citrus is in charge of animating the second season, with Masayuki Kojima returning to direct the series.

The cast from previous season and the movie of the anime returned for the second season, with new cast members joining them.

The Made in Abyss manga is made by Akihito Tsukushi and was published under Bamboo Comics label. It began serializing in 2012.

The manga received an anime adaptation in 2017. It was followed by two compilation movies Made In Abyss: Journey’s Dawn and Made In Abyss: Wandering Twilight, which were released in January 2019, and a sequel movie, titled Made In Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul, which released in Japan on January 2020.
