Dandadan, Dragon Ball Daima, and Ranma 1/2, earned a spot in Netflix’s Top 10 list for non-English TV shows for the week of Oct 21 to Oct 27, 2024, reflecting significant viewership across multiple regions.
Dragon Ball Daima came second in its first week on the chart, gathering 3.2 million views. The series gained popularity in 42 countries, securing the top spot in Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
Following closely, Dandadan claimed the third spot for the second consecutive week with 3.1 million views this week alone.
The anime has remained on Netflix’s Top 10 for three consecutive weeks and is trending in 33 countries.
It claimed the top position in Japan while also achieving notable rankings across the Americas, Asia, and regions of Africa and Oceania.
Meanwhile, Ranma 1/2 Season 1 secured the sixth position with 1.4 million views. The anime moved up two spots from the eighth place as compared to last week’s rankings.
Also in its third week in the Top 10, it achieved popularity in 12 countries, notably across Latin America, Réunion, and Hong Kong.
Netflix’s Top 10 lists are published weekly every Tuesday, including separate global rankings for English and non-English films and TV shows.
The rankings are based on “views,” calculated as the total hours viewed divided by the runtime for each title from Monday to Sunday of the previous week, with values rounded to 100,000.
Each season of a series or film is ranked individually, so multiple seasons of a show can appear on the list.
